When you work in a field for a long time, you really get to know it well. Having held a position in public schools as a school psychologist for the past 12 years, I saw it all – the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly.
As I transition from public schools to private practice, I feel myself needing closure. What better way to transition than to reflect in writing about my experiences. In the following article, I have gathered my thoughts about the field of school psychology, and why we, as school psychologists are pretty amazing human beings.
